None of my late model guns have the removable cylinder bushing and I think the value, if any, of the removable bushing is grossly overrated.

Your comment about the (New) Frontier having thicker cylinder walls sent me to my reference books and I can find no such information.

Your other options would be a Colt Cowboy (for around $700), a UFSA (for $700 and up) or a used Colt Frontier ($750 and up). Expect to find a new one for $1250 and a used one for $1000.
